Adding books to
BookSeller TM Book Store POS is easier
that you might think with book data available on the
web.
Suggested sources of data for books:
http://www.gamon.org/Tools/IsbnLookup.html or http://www.bookfinder4u.com
*Note we do not support use of these suggested outside
data sources or how to use your database or spreadsheet program. If you do not
use these sources you will need to enter your items manually into Bookseller or
a database file for import.
After gathering your book data from your books or the web,
choose and configure all of the desired fields you want in the
spreadsheet or database application *Export your book database
to your products.txt file (Tab format with no quotes)
When finished adding to your spreadsheet, save your file
as a text and tabs file called products.txt in My Documents.
Open up BookSeller Book Store.

Click on the File Tab.

Then Import Products.

When the import screen opens click on open.
Find your products.txt file in My Documents and open
it.
The first record's information will be
visible.
Click on the pull down menu to the left to assign or map
the visible information to the correct field.
When all fields are assigned properly, click on import and
load your database. *Note that it is much
easier and faster to make any changes and enter any data in your spreadsheet
when you add a large number of books, than it is to enter them in the
program.
